October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. LeVino Jones is proud to have a strong portfolio of women’s healthcare projects. From Breast Care Centers to Women’s Clinic, we have had the opportunity to create comfortable, accessible, safe, and empowering environments for women’s healthcare facilities. Women’s Healthcare should be designed to ensure trust between the client and the patient.
For women’s health, the standard of care needs to be elevated. Powerful design is evidence-based design, centered around the patient and their safety, dignity, trust, and respect. Experts note that these environments need to be a collaboration between the community and the healthcare system, so that the design can reflect the needs of the community. Features such as private consultation rooms, treatment spaces, and flexible rooms should evolve with the spaces needs and be considerate of the caregivers or family a patient has.
The use of warm materials, encouragement of natural lighting, and consideration of the privacy and dignity for each patient makes their experience one where they feel respected and seen.
In our women’s health projects, LeVino Jones strives to integrate these principles of human-centered, warm materials, natural lighting, and privacy, to create spaces that reinforce trust and patient well-being.
