Dr. Pulliam moved his compassionate and knowledgeable pediatric practice into this 3,600 square foot suite several months before contacting LeVino jones Medical Interiors. He wanted to transform his builder-grade, basic- finished suite into something more fun, colorful, and nature-related for patients and their families.
Other than blue vinyl furniture in the waiting rooms and dark wood luxury vinyl floors, it was a clean slate. In the waiting area, fun pops of color were added with a logo wall, pendant fixtures, and textured (very durable) wall panels below the check-in ledges. The practice commissioned a muralist to create custom hand-painted murals above the seating areas that burst with color. The murals also include quotes that celebrate kids and childhood.
Once patients enter the clinical areas, there are now bright colored accent walls and more hand-painted murals. There is a huge mural of a tree, complete with a tire swing and fun critters playing all around it.
Each exam room has a unique tree and critter adjacent to the door frame to identify the room number and create interest for the kids of all ages. Each room has a fun accent color and wall protection to keep the walls from damage. Cheerful artwork of animals peering into a “window” were added in each exam room.
