This design of this project got underway in December 2019. This busy and successful dermatology practice needed to move into a new location in the Buckhead area. Little did we know that when it was submitted for permit in February 2020, that a pandemic would cause so many challenges and delays to getting this project permitted and built! Dermatology Consultants leased 3 separate suites in the building since there was not enough contiguous space available. Totaling 12,109 usable square feet, the Clinic suite, the Aesthetic suite, and the Administrative suite were all designed and built at the same time. The same finishes (with tweaks as necessary) were specified in all suites to make each feel the same and to give the same patient experience. Exam rooms were located on the full glass exterior windows wherever possible, allowing the borrowed daylight to floods into the suite interior through the frosted glass doors. Decorative lighting throughout gives each suite a uniqueness, but still complementing the palette and vibe desired by the practice. A curved feature wall greets visitors in the Clinic suite as they travel from Waiting to the Exam pods, proclaiming the practices essence: “Beauty of Science, Science of Beauty”.
