Northside Northpoint OB-GYN’s newest suite is a 4,874 useable square feet clinic and diagnostic area in the Brookside Medical Office Building. This women’s health clinic houses multiple providers within the same office space and requires a large waiting room to comfortably hold the high number of patients they receive. Upon our first meeting, we learned that the clinic had specific finishes and OB-GYN office design examples they wished to incorporate, such as:

We also confirmed that all design requests of the OB-GYN practice design project did meet code requirements for commercial use and ADA.
To meet the needs of Northside Northpoint OB-GYN’s providers, the LeVino Jones team completely reimagined the suite’s layout to create a warm, welcoming space with improved patient flow. However, we saved a few special elements from the original space, including frosted glass panels that connected the sub-waiting areas to the rest of the space while still creating privacy.
By combining old and new, the LeVino Jones team aimed to create a space that enables providers to improve efficiency while allowing patients to easily transition from waiting to receiving care.
To meet Northside Northpoint OB-GYN’s unique design goals, our team created a layout centered around a main nurses station to offer greater visibility for staff. The women’s health facility design we created utilizes a one-way traffic pattern that flows from the separate waiting area to the triage, specimen collection restroom and, finally, a separate checkout.
