  • Led schematic design, design development, and construction documentation
  • Developed space planning and curated material and finish selections
  • Coordinated with MEP and structural engineers to realize the design vision
  • Provided targeted construction administration to maintain design intent through completion

Design goals

  • Transformed a former bank into West Atlanta Pediatrics through strategic adaptive reuse
  • Preserved the building’s traditional architectural character while redefining it as a space for care, comfort, and accessibility
  • Repurposed the former drive-through into an expansion with additional exam rooms and efficient circulation
  • Converted the original bank vault into a functional assessment area
  • Leveraged existing features as design opportunities to maximize the building’s potential

Key features

  • Interpreted multiple client theme directions through an abstract design approach that invites imagination
  • Integrated a flowing path in the flooring to create intuitive wayfinding and movement throughout the clinic
